A position is available immediately for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to study the mechanism of RNAi in C. elegans. Our current research is focused on how small RNAs are generated and act at their targets. We address these questions in C. elegans and tissue culture using genetic, biochemical, cellular and molecular biological approaches. The laboratory is located in the School of Life Sciences at University of Science & Technology of China. This would be an excellent position for an independently minded individual who wishes to broaden her/his scientific horizons.
Applicants must have a PhD in biology or a related field. Experience with C. elegans is not required.
