The Chaogu Zheng lab at the HKU is seeking a postdoc fellow to work on topics related to neuronal cell biology. Potential projects include developing methods for neuron type-specific proteomic profiling, studying protein homeostasis during neuronal differentiation and aging, and understanding the mechanisms of synaptic formation. The reserach project will use C. elegans as a model and a variety of tools in genetics, genomics, proteomics, optogenetics, and fluorescent imaging.
