A postdoctoral position is available in the Rongo lab at Rutgers University to study protein trafficking in neurons in vivo using the C. elegans model system.
The project is funded by a new 5-year grant from the National Institutes of Health.
Specific areas of interest include genetics, neurobiology, cell biology, signal transduction, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. with a strong background in genetics and/or cell biology, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with C. elegans will be considered favorably.
