Postdoc position - parasitic nematode genomics, Washington DC

The O’Halloran lab (http://ohalloranlab.net) in the Department of Biological Sciences at George Washington University in Washington DC is seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral scientist to work on projects aimed at identifying genetic markers of nematode anthelmintic resistance and also mechanisms of nematode host specificity. This will be achieved by studying the genomes of susceptible and resistant parasites and profiling the transcriptome of infected permissive and non-permissive hosts. The candidate will be responsible for leading and carrying out these projects that involve genomics studies of nematode parasites.
