The Chaogu Zheng lab at the HKU is seeking two postdoc fellows. One will work on developing a method for neuron type-specific proteomic profiling and studying protein homeostasis during neuronal differentiation and aging, as well as in neurodegenerative diseases. The other position involves studying the molecular mechanisms for the formation of electrical synapses. Both positions will use C. elegans as the model and a variety of tools in genetics, genomics, proteomics, optogenetics, and fluorescent imaging.
