Postdoc positions in the Gill Lab at the University of Minnesota

Post-doctoral positions are available in the Gill Lab in the Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism / Department of Genetics, Cell Biology and Development at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

Work in the lab is focused on understanding basic mechanisms of aging in the nematode C. elegans. Specific projects include characterization of a truncated insulin receptor involved in development and aging, the role of lipid signaling in lifespan determination and implementation of technologies for automated assessment of healthspan and lifespan.

Interested candidates should have a doctoral degree in a relevant scientific discipline. Experience and publications demonstrating expertise in any of the following areas would be preferred but is not a necessity: genetics, molecular biology, cell culture, microfluidics, automation.
