Postdoc/tech positions - Univ. of Pittsburgh, Lamitina Lab

Multiple funded positions are available in the Lamitina Lab at the University of Pittsburgh. We study stress response pathways and neurogenerative disease mechanisms. The city of Pittsburgh offers a high quality of life and a low cost of living, an outstanding restaurant scene, and abundant cultural and recreational opportunities. For more info, search up our lab website or give us a follow on Twitter - @LamitinaLab.

We are looking for recent or imminent B.S. (Tech positions) or Ph.D. (Postdoc positions) graduates with experience in neuroscience, molecular biology, and/or genetics. While experience with C. elegans is a plus, a zest for science and a willingness to try new things is all that is needed!

Postdocs will be provided the freedom, flexibility, and mentoring to develop their own independent research program. Techs will assist in day-to-day lab management tasks, as well as receive practical lab experience suitable for application to graduate school Masters/PhD programs. In both cases,
we are looking for collaborative, friendly, and motivated individuals who work well with others but are also capable of working independently and exploring their own ideas.

To apply, please send a CV to Dr. Todd Lamitina at stl52@pitt.edu or DM us on Twitter @LamitinaLab.
