Postdoctoral fellow

Postdoctoral fellow

Post-doctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Dr. Adam Antebi at the Huffington Center on Aging, Baylor College of Medicine. Our laboratory uses molecular genetic approaches to understand how endocrine systems regulate developmental age and aging in the small roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans. We are studying a conserved steroid hormone signaling pathway that regulates stage transitions, entry into a long lived diapause stage, as well as life span (Dev Cell 10, 473-82; Cell 124, 124, 1209-23). We use both molecular genetic and biochemical approaches to understand these processes. The Huffington Center is a highly interactive environment within the Texas Medical Center, one of the foremost medical complexes in the world. Highly motivated applicants are encouraged to apply. Please send a brief cover letter describing research experience, CV, and contact information for 2-3 references to:
