The Sarinay Cenik would like to recruit highly motivated postdoctoral candidates with a strong background in cell biology, biochemistry or computational biology.
Our lab is generally interested in understanding how translational output is connected with gene regulatory pathways to ensure the tight coupling between
organismal development and key cellular decisions. We take advantage of state-of art techniques in C. elegans genetics (Crispr-Cas9, non-mendelian inheritance), microscopy,
next-generation sequencing and biochemistry to address fundamental questions in gene expression and development.
Check out our lab website: https://www.sarinayceniklab.org/
Please feel free to contact to discuss further potential projects and discuss our most recent paper which will be online in February (esarinay@utexas.edu).
Please send an email with your general interests, and CV along with your references, to esarinay@utexas.edu
Our lab is located in Department of Molecular Biosciences in University of Texas at Austin. UT Austin is a public research university located in Austin, hosts many labs doing
cutting edge research, state of art facilities (a second Nikon microscope facility has just been opened with newest technology microscopes ).
It is the flagship institution of the University of Texas System.
Austin is a lively and beautiful place to live with amazing food and live music. It ranks the 1st among top 10 best places to live determined by U.S. news in 2018.
