Postdoctoral position- Hart laboratory, Brown University

y. Our recent work has defined a new family of Notch co-ligands and revealed a role for the Notch pathway in adult animals regulating behavior, stress response, and longevity. Postdoctoral fellows will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in these studies and to establish their own independent research program. Strong verbal and written skills in English are essential, but prior experience with C. elegans is not required. Highly motivated individuals who can both work independently as well as in a group are invited to apply by sending their C.V., references and a cover letter by email to Dr. Anne Hart at hart@helix.mgh.harvard.edu
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, position start date is flexible, and the project is supported by both NIH and Ellison Medical Foundation funding.
Please note that the Hart laboratory will move to the Department of Neurobiology at Brown University in the Fall of 2009.
