Postdoctoral position in biology of aging

Valued qualifications include:
• Ph.D. in a related field of biology (e.g. genetics, neuroscience, molecular biology)
• Extensive experience working with C. elegans
• Ability to generate transgenic worms from design to cloning to microinjection to integration
• Previous experience with molecular biology techniques (DNA, RNA, protein)
• Experience with bioinformatics
• Ability to lead a research project from design stages to data analysis, figure preparation and manuscript writing
• A passion for scientific research
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Knowledge of the aging research field
• Experience with Crispr-Cas9 genome editing techniques
• Experience with other model organisms especially mammalian systems
