Postdoctoral position in neuron remodeling at the University of Illinois

An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Nate Schroeder at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Schroeder lab studies dendritic arborization and resorption of sensory neurons during dauer formation and recovery.
Successful candidates will be encouraged to apply for independent funding and to develop their own research niche within the overall interests and expertise of the lab.

Applicants should be highly motivated, have a PhD in a related field, and have at least one first-author publication. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are required.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in molecular biology, neuroscience, and C. elegans husbandry.
