A postdoctoral position is available in the Zhong lab at Rice University to investigate C. elegans genome function. We use C. elegans to study genetic interaction networks regulating development and behavior. We are interested in both developing high-throughput imaging technologies for genetic studies and applying these tools to conduct large-scale genetic screens.
Applications are welcome from candidates who have a passion for science and have experience in genetics of model systems. Experience with C. elegans is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree.
