Pouring agar plates

Hi Everyone!

I am looking to buy a new peristaltic pump to automate the pouring of our agar plates.
I particularly like the option of the Lambda Instruments MegaFLow (mainly due to the small footprint), http://www.lambda-instruments.com/?pages=peristaltic_pump_overview

Does anyone have any experience with this?

We got the Wheaton Unispense Pro and it works very well. It’s probably more expensive than the one you mention, and it does mechanically pull the hose as it draws, but other than that it works very well.
