how to get the sequence of pRF4??
wish someone can help me. :-[
-
Chose from the ‘Search’ - menu “Protein” or “Nucleotide” (depending on which sequence you need).
-
Enter your search term (in your case pRF4)
-
click on “GO”
-
Select the sequence/organism, you need (BUT try to avoid choosing “chromosome xyz, complete sequence”, as it takes ages to download).
-
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Thanks for your reply.
pRF4 is a worm expression vector , a kind of co injection marker, but not a gene or protein.
Actually,I want to get the sequence of pRF4 vector.
Hi,
I don’t have the sequence for you, but as far as I know pRF4 is a ±4kb EcoRI fragment of rol-6 into pUC19 (ref: Mello, Kramer, Stinchcomb, Ambros, EMBO journal(1991) Efficient gene transfer in C. elegans). You could try to put it together in silico yourself.

Josien
Thank you very much!
