pRF4 sequence?

how to get the sequence of pRF4??
wish someone can help me. :-[

  1. go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/

  2. Chose from the ‘Search’ - menu “Protein” or “Nucleotide” (depending on which sequence you need).

  3. Enter your search term (in your case pRF4)

  4. click on “GO”

  5. Select the sequence/organism, you need (BUT try to avoid choosing “chromosome xyz, complete sequence”, as it takes ages to download).

  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your reply.

pRF4 is a worm expression vector , a kind of co injection marker, but not a gene or protein.
Actually,I want to get the sequence of pRF4 vector.

Hi,

I don’t have the sequence for you, but as far as I know pRF4 is a ±4kb EcoRI fragment of rol-6 into pUC19 (ref: Mello, Kramer, Stinchcomb, Ambros, EMBO journal(1991) Efficient gene transfer in C. elegans). You could try to put it together in silico yourself.

Best,
Josien

Thank you very much!
