Hi, i am wondering if anyone can share with me the method to make antibody against the worm`s Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase protein? or if there are commercial products available? Thanks a lot!!
I do not know if anyone has an antibody to C. elegans Acetyl-CoA carboxylase. It looks like the published work used GFP reporters. So you may need to make your own antibody (which, unfortunately, can be costly and time consuming). If so, there is a brief review of making antibodies in my WormBook methods section on Immunohistochemistry. I recommend the book by Harlow and Lane on antibodies for general information.
