RESEARCH ASSISTANT

A full-time research position conducting drug screens leading to extended lifespan is available in the Phillips Lab at the University of Oregon, Eugene.
Candidates having a B.A, B.S. or M.S. are invited to apply.
We seek a highly motivated and responsible individual who enjoys participating in an interactive intellectual environment to join us in our studies of genetics and genomics
using the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans and its relatives as model systems.
The candidate will be responsible for working with a team conducting large scale longevity and fitness assays, as well as performing general laboratory tasks.
Previous experience with basic molecular techniques and/or the genetics of model organisms is preferred.
