Research Assistant - Brunet lab - Stanford

Are you interested in aging research? Our lab is looking for a Research Assistant to identify mechanisms that regulate aging in C. elegans.

We are looking for a Research Assistant with a B.Sc. degree in Biology/Chemistry or a related field. Previous experience working in a research laboratory and experience with C. elegans are desired.
Primary responsibilities are to design and conduct experiments and to develop protocols to study the molecular basis of aging in C. elegans. Other duties include assisting with general C. elegans maintenance as well as generating transgenic and CRISPR/Cas9 engineered worm strains.
