The Purice Lab officially launched this year, and I’m looking for 1-2 Research Technicians to join our team! A minimum two year commitment is preferred.
Our research focuses on understanding how glia-neuron interactions change across aging and in disease using C. elegans as a model organism. This position is ideal for someone passionate about neuroscience, aging, or molecular biology, organized, a team player, and eager to contribute to research.
The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Organizing and maintaining the lab, including inventory and equipment management
- Conducting experiments in genetics, molecular biology, and imaging
- Helping establish a new lab environment and culture
- Collaborating on projects that advance our understanding of brain health
