The lab of Mihail Sarov (TransgeneOmics, MPI-CBG, Dresden, Germany) is looking for a motivated research technician to support our large scale protein function exploration project. She/he will support in the development of improved transgenesis methods for C. elegans, including:
- high through DNA engineering
- maintenance of worm stocks
- worm transgenesis by microinjection and/or ballistic bombardment
- screening for transformants
- primary description of the observed expression patterns.
Prior experience with recombination based DNA engineering, worm handling and microscopy will be a plus.
