A one-year technician position is available starting from 1 October 2018, located at the Ecole Normale Superieure in the center of Paris.
The candidate will take part in a collaborative project on the evolution of the mutational variance of vulval precursor cells in nematodes (see Braendle, Baer and Félix. PLOS Genetics 2010).
The main activity of the candidate will be to score vulval precursor cell fates using Nomarski optics in mutation lines of Caenorhabditis and Oscheius nematodes.
Excellent organization and observation skills are necessary. Experience with C. elegans is a plus, but not a requirement.
