The Smanski Lab in the Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics and the Biotechnology Institute at the University of Minnesota,
Twin Cities is seeking motivated, innovative, and energetic individuals to work on a DARPA-funded project in C. elegans. Specifically, we aim to leverage
the latest tools in programmable gene expression to engineer synthetic barriers to reproduction in this model organism. We seek candidates with
experience in genetic manipulation of C. elegans to work on this fast-paced and exciting project.
Applicants with a B.S. in genetics, biological engineering, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field and previous experience in genetic
manipulation of eukaryotic species are encouraged to submit a cover letter, CV, and names of three references directly to Prof. Michael
