rol-6 as co-injection marker: is there an effect on life span?

Hi @all,
i want to use pRF4 (rol-6) as an injection marker. i will analyze the aging process of the transgenic animals. Is rol-6 critical with respect to life span/aging? Do i need to include control worms just expressing rol-6?

I have never noticed an effect of just pRF4 on lifespan, but yes, you should have a control group with just the co-injection marker + whatever DNA filler.
