A Scientific Officer position is available in Nathan Goehring’s Developmental Systems Lab, which will open at the Cancer Research UK London Research Institute in early 2013.
The Developmental Systems Lab seeks an enthusiastic and highly qualified Scientific Officer to support our work on pattern-formation during animal development. The successful applicant will be expected to play a lead role in the day-to-day running of the lab and actively participate in on-going lab projects, including generating new reagents, managing lab ordering and inventories, and providing training to new lab members. For the right candidate, up to 50% of time may be devoted to an independent research project related to the interests of the lab.
The London Research Institute has an international reputation for cutting edge research into basic biology. In 2015, the London Research Institute will become part of the new Francis Crick Institute, an exciting new biomedical research centre located in the heart of London.
