SEC-derived strains

Hi all, we’re going to deposit some new TIR strains into the CGC, which were made using SEC selection (Dickinson et al., 2015). We’re trying to decide which versions of the strains to submit. The SEC-in strains have the Rol marker, which is useful for crossing, but require excision of the SEC. The SEC-out strains don’t need SEC excision, but need to be genotyped by PCR in crosses. Understandably, the CGC wants to balance utility to the community with avoiding doubling strains. Can folks fill out this poll to give us insight into how folks prefer to acquire SEC-derived strains from the CGC. (SEC-in vs -out)?
