Does anybody know the sequence of the smg-1 e1228 mutation?
Wormbase has it pending curation, but I guess you could just as quickly sequence the e1228 variation in the CB3214 strain (from the CGC)?
We sequenced part of the smg-1 coding sequence and found this G to A mutation that creates a stop codon: AATAAAATGACTGGTGTCTCACAATG (G to A) AAGAATAAACTCACTGATACGGAAATATTCGATAGAAATGAAGAAGG
Thanks for the information! Send an email to Mary Ann Tuli (maryann.tuli@wormbase.org) with the details and she’ll update it in WormBase for an upcoming release.
