Sorry, basic question

Hello!

my question is very basic because Iā€™m quite beginner in the management of C. elgans. I received two strains of worms and do not move or respond to being touched. Is it that they are dead and have to order them again? :ā€™(

please need guidance.

Thanks a lot.

What strains, exactly?

N2 and AU37.
I noticed that strains AU37 were mostly tucked in agar. On the other hand, do chunking, the worms did not respond, so I think they are dead.

They could have been exposed to too much heat in transit. Perhaps contact the source of the worms for advice.

thanks for the answer, then I will request the worms with a private courier service
