Research Technician Position: Fat metabolism in C. elegans, mammalian systems

Candidates with an interest in metabolism, nutrition and obesity are encouraged to apply to a position for a research technician working with Amy Walker, PhD at the Center for Cancer Research in Charlestown MA. The laboratory is part of the Massachusetts General Hospital and affiliated with Harvard Medical School. The Cancer Center is a highly collaborative environment, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to modern biology. The ideal candidate will have a BS in the biological sciences, and will be able to devote 2 years to the project. Experience in C. elegans is a plus. Responsibilities will include nematode maintenance, basic molecular biology and may also extend to mammalian cell culture.
