Tenure track Assistant Professor position, Biology at Queen’s University

We have a tenure track Assistant Professor position open for someone with a strong experimental program and a systems approach.
The Department of Biology at Queen’s University, Kingston ON Canada (https://biology.queensu.ca) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor with specialization in Systems Biology.
The preferred start date is July 1, 2019.
The department seeks a systems biologist with a strong experimental and computational approach and research interests centred in identifying emergent system-level properties.
Examples of research areas could include, but are not limited to: the control of gene, protein, and metabolic networks; cell signalling; cell interaction; or synthetic biology.
The successful candidate will complement and broaden the department’s existing expertise and strengths and will contribute to teaching within the areas of cell and molecular biology,
development, genetics, genomics, or bioinformatics.
