I’d like to know (I’m a gastroneterologist) if there are “universal primers” that allow to detect the presence of nematodes in the feces. A collateral aim of a study in which I’m involved would be the detection of nematodes in the fecal samples of some patients. It is not important (at least in this phase of the study) to know which type of nematode but only presence/absence of the parasites.
