wrmScarlet PCR fusion linker?

We are trying to generate wrmScarlet transgenes with PCR fusion similar the approach with GFP using a 24 bp linker overlap in primer B. But, unlike with GFP, we can not having luck getting the fusion PCR reaction to work well for wrmScarlet amplified from plasmid pSAH51.

Has anyone gotten this to work? If so, would you be willing to share the linker sequence that you are using?

Hi,
I use a 24 bp linker before my wrmScarlet CrispR KI inserts, mostly C terminus KIs. Never had any problems with the KI and the expression of the endogenous fusion protein. The sequence is GGATCCGCTGGATCCGCTGCTGGA. I hope this helps.
